Hin Lek Fai Hill (Flintstone Hill) is
located about 1.5 km west of the city center and provides a
panoramic view of Hua Hin, the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course below and
the Gulf of Thailand beyond the town.
There is a new park
at the top of the hill with many flowers, shrubs, trees and bamboo
groves. Next to the first view point there is a statue of king Rama
VII with an information about his life. Next to the parking is a
exotic birds centre.
Paths are through
the park leading to lookout spots with breathtaking views. It is
worth to see all three see view points as they show different
panoramic view of Hua Hin. The best time to go when there is a clear
day.
The road to the top
is very steep. Only very strong should try to make their way to the
top on bike. Vehicle transport is recommended. On the way to hill
you visit some temples.
